About

Molsby started and helped grow MOBO through his commitment to zealously representing clients with integrity. He loves details and complicated transactions, but also has great communication skills and is passionate about helping clients.  Prior to MOBO, Molsby was an attorney for the Law Office of Benedict C. Di Duca, in Chico, CA, where he practiced business law, construction law, property law and estate planning.   Molsby considers Mr. Di Duca the best construction attorney in northern California, and MOBO and its clients benefit from MOBO’s continued association with Mr. DiDuca and his law firm.

Previously, Molsby was a manufacturer’s representative for Skis Dynastar and Lange Ski Boots in Colorado.  Before that, he was a business consultant specializing in efficiency improvement.  That broad base of experience enabled Molsby to obtain a vast background in a variety of fields, which enables him to quickly get up to speed in complex matters.

At MOBO, Molsby focuses his practice on details related to business, estate planning, incorporation, construction, employment, and property law.  Molsby is licensed to practice law in California, in the federal court system, and handles select matters nationwide.

Molsby graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Political Science, and received his Juris Doctorate from Cal Northern School of Law.   He is a part-time professor at Cal Northern School of Law, where he is also on the board of directors and volunteers as their chief financial officer.  Molsby is the current President of the Tahoe-Truckee Bar Association.  He is also a commercial and residential real estate broker and loan broker. Molsby’s favorite charities are the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (www.hstt.org) and Girls on the Run (www.girlsontherunsierras.org).

Molsby has lived and skied all over North America, with the majority of his time spent in Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Mammoth, and Tahoe.  He currently spends much of his free time skiing, cycling, long distance hiking, practicing Bikram yoga, scuba diving and backcountry skiing.  This year, he plans to run a high-elevation marathon.

Cam received his B.A. from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and did post-graduate studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  During his time in Boulder, he was a professional ski patroller and a competitive freeskier.  While a professional ski patroller at Eldora Mountain Resort, Cam was head of the mountain safety and accident investigation teams.  Cam later became a nationwide risk consultant to ski resorts and other recreation providers for a major insurance company.  Eventually, Cam moved from Colorado to Truckee, California and accepted the position of Director of Risk Management at Heavenly Ski Resort.  Cam earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and began practicing ski resort/sports and recreation defense here in Tahoe.

Now, Cam’s practice is dedicated to all types of civil litigation, such as business, property, and construction law, in addition to ski resort defense law and risk management.  Cam has, on some level, been involved in the outdoor recreation industry his entire life; he believes in recreation and is passionate about defending recreation providers.  Cam is licensed to practice law in California, in the federal court system, and handles select matters nation-wide.
